Home On The Range Receives Grant for Fencing Upgrade Project

[Laramie], WY – Home on the Range Animal Haven recently completed a fencing project, expanding grazing pasture for their five donkeys, four ponies, and three large horses, thanks to a $2,500 grant from the Far West Donor Advised Endowment Fund at the Wyoming Community Foundation.

The upgraded fencing will provide additional acreage for all of the equines to enjoy spring and summer grass in a safe environment. Guests will also have access to the enlarged area, allowing them to mingle with the animals.
Established in 2012, Home on the Range, situated on over 40 acres, serves as Albany County’s sole large animal sanctuary, dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating neglected, abused, and abandoned animals. It has evolved into a haven not only for animals but also a unique refuge for people searching for hope and healing through interaction with an animal.

Currently, 18 animals that would have no other place to live are provided shelter, food, medical care, and love for the rest of their lives.

The Wyoming Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization that works with donors to support the charitable causes they care most about.
